Well the new site is finally starting
to come together with some new graphics and the normal malarkey,
however progress is rather encumbered by the general epic workload
that is organising a mid-sized geek convention as well as working
nights on the doors but meh, we're getting there ^_^ and i'm
pretty pleased with the way it's heading..
It is in the nature of the beast that
things will and must change and the last few years have seen a
fairly dramatic turn about here at FAM - people have come and
gone, we became a ltd. company, i actually drew a few pages of
comics and somewhere along the line have managed to make the whole
thing work to the point where we're actually turning a profit and
things are looking rather bright for the future.. (no, seriously,
how the fuck did that happen??)
Anyway, the upshot of all this is
that i am, once again on my tod and FAM is once more a one woman
show (hence the site re-vamp).
How do i feel about this? well.. optimistic..
I've always been one who actively enjoys their own company (not
that i dislike the company of others mind, just i have no issues
with being by myself) and i must admit there is always a pleasure
in the freedom of only having yourself to worry about...
So what does the future hold i hear you cry, well right now comic
shows and girl love as The House of Yuri project kicks into full
swing and FAM hits the Bristol Expo (kinda have to be there i
suppose) and we head off to the London MCM for the first time at
the end of May as well - funs!
Worry not those who are waiting
(astoundingly patiently i have to say considering the length of
the downtime) for my other comics to update, there should be
something ready for you by next week (yes, i was surprised as
well)..
